    The TP-DCDC-1248-M offered by Tycon Power is a cost-effective and highly reliable DC to DC Converter solution for those requiring 48VDC Power over Ethernet (PoE) voltage from a 12V or 24V battery system. This unit features an integrated PoE injector that applies 48VDC to the CAT5/6 Ethernet cable, ensuring a stable and regulated 48VDC output from an input voltage range of 10VDC to 36VDC. The TP-DCDC-1248-M is designed with one common (-) and two (+) inputs, allowing for the connection of two power sources, such as a primary and a backup power source, to ensure uninterrupted operation.

    The unit accepts data-in through a shielded RJ45 jack and provides data-out and PoE power through the shielded RJ45 output jack. It supplies power on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-), making it compatible with various PoE devices. For applications requiring the IEEE 802.3af handshake, an IEEE 802.3af compliant model is available.

    The injector is equipped with multiple protection features, including surge protection, short circuit protection, and overload protection, safeguarding your equipment and ensuring longevity. The unit has a power output capacity of up to 20W, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Additionally, the TP-DCDC-1248-M is DIN rail mountable using DIN Rail adaptors (pn: DIN-ClipKit-UNI), providing flexibility and ease of installation in industrial environments.
